Self Striping yarn is so effective when worked in a slanted asymmetrical scarf. Zauberball is the perfect example. This would look great in irregular stripes and extended to be longer if desired. Simple double crochets(USA sc) and chains are all that is needed. It is simple repetitive stitching and a 6mm (J) hook
