There are a few options that will work well for these shorts.

The how to crochet over elastic for the waist instructions are shown in the pattern. These are made without front or side seams which meant there is only a tiny crotch seam to sew. This makes them really, really comfortable to wear and so easy to complete.

Materials

4 balls Scheepjes Catona (125m/50gm 100%cotton)

OR 3 hanks Fibra Natura Flax #10 (125m/50gm 100% linen)

OR 3 hanks Lotus Linen 8 (150m/50gm 100% linen)

OR 2 hanks Fibra Natura Lina (230m/100gm 68% linen, 32%cotton)

 

4.5mm (G) hook

3.5mm hook for attaching elastic

3 stitch markers

2 metres 3mm wide Elastic.

Measurements to fit size small, medium and large

Hips 79(87,94) cm [31 (34,37)”]

Length waist to crotch 25(28,30) cm [10 (11,12)”]
