This is the perfect “vest”. It is both elegant and functional. You will be noticed wearing this design. Make it in pure natural coloured Australian wool and everyone wins.
The 2 front panels are designed to be tiny and just sit to the armhole side of the bust line. The frill, worked around the outside edge, then drapes perfectly without being overwhelming.
The body of the garment is quick to make however adding the frill rounds is a bit more challenging.
I recommend 4x 100gm hanks Tarnd Warn Coort Natural Polwarth 5 ply. This is a luxurious hand wash only Australian wool. Hook: 4.5 mm (G)
