When we shifted from cold Canberra to sunny Queensland 25 years ago we moved house on the 13th year of our marriage into a house numbered 13, and it turned out that in the street grid for power of that street was number 13 too. Our baby was born on the 13 th day of the month. So it seems only fitting that I should launch a Baker’s dozen on Friday the 13th March 2020 while it is a full moon.
