Redesigned in crochet by Jenny King from Elizabeth Zimmerman’s famous Baby Surprise Jacket. This garment is made in one piece using Aussie and UK double crochet only. For USA and Canadian crocheter’s this would mean single crochet only. The jacket is worked in one piece throughout. The “Surprise” is how it comes together at the end. Recommended Yarns: 1 – 2 balls King Cole Mirage, 3 – 4 balls Noro Silk Garden, 3 – 4 balls Woolganic Organic Merino, 7 – 9 balls Cleckheaton Country kids; 3 – 5 balls Lotus Yarns Sunset. Pattern sizes: If using Silk Garden the smallest size is approx 6 months, next size is suitable for 12 – 18 months, largest for between 2 and 4 years.
